By Rob Fletcher, February 2009 | |
Given Scotland's remarkable and varied coastline, it is little surprise that the sea has inspired artists both present and past. This exhibition focuses on the former, and the likes of Louise Balaam, Margaret Evans, Hugh Kirkwood and Iona Leishman are showing some of their brine-soaked paintings - a selection that covers all corners and moods of our maritime borders, and which might encourage you to head seawards and abandon the land. Until 4 March. |
