Semi-abstract painter Louise Balaam heads to Scotland this month, with a range of paintings that exemplify her emotional depictions of the surrounding environment. Influenced by the oils of Constable, Balaam examines the link between light and dark, painting landscapes from memory, rather that in situ. After the Rain sees a collection of her textured oil paintings, rarely seen in Scotland, exhibited as part of a group winter show.
