Perthshire artist and wood-turner Angus Clyne joins the painters in the summer exhibition at the Ruthven Gallery in Auchterarder, which opens to the public tomorrow. |
Angus, who became a professional wood turner in 1998, makes bowls and vases, often very large thin walled vessels which give priority to form and the natural grain of the wood. |
The exhibition is headed by Scottish colourist Cara Mckinnon Crawford and Northumberland-based Robert Newton. |
The exhibition runs until September 10 and also features work by Hugh Kirkwood who was recently short-listed for 'Wildlife Artist of the Year'. |
